Three Harbours Arts Festival

In June 2006 we were part of the Three Harbours Arts Festival that took place in Prestonpans, Port Seton and Cockenzie. The festival already had great artists like Pete Howson, George Birrell, John Bellany, Tom Ewing and Gardner Molloy taking part so we decided to try and get two superstars of the Scottish Small Press Comics Scene. A few emails later and Malcy Duff and Nulsh had agreed to exhibit in our very own Monkey Loft.

Malcy and Nulsh

So one Sunday afternoon, they came to The Monkey loft to put up their work. It took a long time but the exhibition was beginning to take shape. This was really going to happen...

All in all we had a truly wonderful time. Big thanks to Malcy and Nulsh for exhibiting with us and big thanks to everyone at Prestoungrange for making the Festival the success it was.

If you missed the exhibit we have a slideshow of the artists work here, with soundtrack by the boys, so turn your speakers up.

Our next comics event is Prestonpandemonium, a comic mart right here in the Pans on Saturday 22nd July, upstairs in the Goth from 11 til 3. Be there !
