Turn left out of Upton Park underground station, walk past Kebabish, the White Hart and various saree shops and turn left in to St Georges Road. Keep walking until you meet Upton Lane and the Old Spotted Dog is straight ahead of you. The party is upstairs.
If you don't fancy walking half a mile or so from Upton Park station then local cabs are available from Upton Park, Stratford, Plaistow and East Ham underground stations and Forest Gate railway station. We are getting hitched because we love each other very much and want to be together forever. We're throwing a party because we want all our friends to be as happy as we are.
We don't plan to have a conventional 'do' e.g. we don't have a colour theme, aren't sending formal invitations and there definitely won't be a 'favour' in sight. The best way you could help us celebrate would be to turn up, have a good time and let your hair down. Oh, and kids are welcome to come along and join in the fun - Emily will enjoy the company.
We would be grateful if you didn't come along bearing gifts! At the risk of sounding like a pair of self-satisfied ingrates, we have everything we could wish for - and more - and hope our pals turn up empty-handed (truly).
If you want to mark the occasion, perform a random act of kindness to a stranger, make a donation to charity, plant a tree, help an oldie cross the road, give up your seat on the tube or whatever but please, please don't give us prezzies! - thank you!!
