Silver Surfers' Day 2007 was May 25th. We offered tailored one to one taster
sessions to any over 50s who want to learn more about computers and the Internet.
We don't like litter in our beautiful town. One of the
projects we are involved in is clearing litter from the largely
abandoned Cuthill Park. The first two clearups were on Saturday 6th
January and Sunday 3rd March. We had great fun, the park is looking a
lot better and burgers were provided by the Goth.
The second Prestonpandemonium Comic Mart happened at the Goth
on 4th November with Alan Grant as a very special guest. We had a great
time doing the Prestonpandemonium shows but there isn't going to be
another one for quite a while, probably not until 2008. Sorry comic
fans of East Lothian.
If you're looking for a comic mart in Scotland we recommend
Glasgow Hillhead Library -- sorry no link or date for next show.
The 2006 Prestonpans beach clear and
survey took place on Sunday 17th September. Many thanks to all those
who took part and to the Prestoungrange Gothenburg for supplying
burgers and chips for the volunteers.
Our first Monkey Loft exhibition, with Malcy
Duff and Nulsh, is now over and was
a great success. if you made it along, or if you just want to see what it
was all about, check out the pictures here

When we first met back in the late 80s, Snickers were still
called Marathons, Opal Fruits hadn't yet been rechristened Starburst
and Channel 5 hadn't yet been invented. "zeitgeist" wasn't yet the
zeitgeist and we hadn't heard of pesto. We spent our time listening to
music and dreaming of the day we would have lots of money. Our idea of
a good time was spending a Bank Holiday Monday in Brighton.
Three children (and three stones) later we now spend our time
listening to music and dreaming of the day we will have furniture that
doesn't come with an allen key. Our idea of a good time in going
anywhere. Being spontaneous takes three weeks planning and lots of
nappies.
Nowadays our website contains things about our life, our interests, our
travels, the girls' artwork and whatever projects
we are currently involved in.
